I have over 30 years experience working with individuals, couples, families and groups.  I work from my private practice in London, although I have many years experience working in the NHS and the private psychiatric sector.
 
I completed my Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California, and later gained a Master of Arts in Systemic Psychotherapy at the Tavistock Clinic in London.  I received my Certificate to teach the Alexander Technique following three years training at the Constructive Teaching Centre in London.

In my psychotherapy practice, I have experience working with couples, families, and individuals with a broad range of problems.  I have also specialised in working with families and couples where an individual suffers with an eating disorder.

I am a member of the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP), the Association of Family Therapy (AFT) and the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT).  Membership of these professional bodies means that I abide by strict Codes of Ethics and professional practice.  You can be assured of the highest standards of discretion and confidentiality.

I place the greatest value on my relationship with my clients and offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space in which to explore your concerns. 

I believe that we are all individuals and different approaches may suit different people.  Because I am trained and experienced in therapeutic techniques focusing on both mind and body through psychotherapy and the Alexander Technique, I am uniquely placed to  be able to offer a broader approach and be able to work with synergies between emotion, behaviour and physicality.  You can read more about my approach bringing together these disciplines here.
